Opinion vs Bigatryaand

I like millions of others chose to get my news from many different sources.  I simply refuse to up the ratings of mediocrity and what reporters like to coin as honest news.  Really I will decide on my own what I believe is honest news vs banality.  None the less, I follow FOX because I believe what they say more so than what any other news source puts out.  It appears that NPR does not want any level of reality to be involved with the news, they would rather like many other liberal news sources, feed you and the followers full of bullshit.  However they still accept tax payer dollars to subsidize their news agency.  If they are in fact doing so than, maybe they have no problem with oh I don't reporting what we say is news and not what they say it is.  Last time I checked if the taxpayers are providing any funds than guess what?  You work for us, so we decide who stays and goes.  That is how business operates.  Run completely completely free of tax dollars and raise your own money, or NPR, We are your new bosses.  We employ you, you don;t employ you.

The world the People live in versus the world the Politicians live in

Having returned recently from another tour in Iraq, I expected things to be different because as we all know  nothing ever really stays the same.  That is until you come back from a year of dealing with officers who are just itching to become politicians and the soldiers are left to deal with the dirty work of having to handle the decisions that are being made, but really that was not the world "we were living it" we simply occupied space there, because we were sent with lies to do someone elses dirty work.  Again not why this is being written.  We as the soldiers were sent there confused and mislead, and returned angry and even more confused.  I expected pretty much the same when it came to the malls and the vanity shit, but wow, what gets me more than anything is how is that we can honestly afford to have leaders in world that understand absolutely nothing about it.  So while the wars are going on there is another blind spot being ignored.  What the hell is the love affair with American People and sick people they elect.  Can we afford this level of stupidity any longer, while the world's people at their choosing burn our flag, our bibles and kill our soldiers, we still have no politicians out there that have never played a game of RISK, or for that matter CHESS.  Lets play Risk and really take a look at the board for a change and see if they (politicians) have any idea of what is at stake or what is up in, our world, not their world.  Who's version of reality are we being forced to swallow?
